Rochester Live Stream Conference TED Talk
A little over a week ago, I had the opportunity to give a TED Talk or 'Spark' Talk at the Rochester U's Live Stream Conference. It felt good to be back in the Zoom world of social gathering and seeing some of my old academic prof's like Dr. Mark Love and Dr. Richard Beck. Beck's talk particularily has me pondering more about how he says humainty finds particular joy or happiness within the three explorations of gratitude, awe, and cosmic mattering. I wish I could review the recorded talk that he gave. But you'll hear more in the video I share.
Anyways, this post is really about sharing with you the exciting news of a new YouTube Channel I started while calling the videos 'I Am A Well Dweller'. I'm not sure where this advanture may lead but, I thought it might be a great platform to share my blog posts with you in audio form while maybe catching some "off the record" comments that I might have in going deeper, simplifying, or sharing some connected thoughts to the particular post that I am sharing from. And maybe... maybe we might have some guests on to share how they find intersections and meaning around the topic of and with disabilities, dignity, and hope.
This first episode I share the talk that I gave at the conference. I know many of you might of been wondering what I shared. So here it is!
Also, I'm not going to be posting these videos here on the website all the time... so please click "Subscribe" on the YouTube Channel and that will make sure you catch all the future episodes. You might want to checkout the new Social Media links I just added to the top & bottom of the website too while "Liking" & subscribing to them. I like sharing several quotes while I'm reading that might bring you encouragement, thoughts, & conversation.
One last thing, while your watching... drop me a comment about one the below questions! I'd really like to hear what you think!
What posts or subjects would you like to hear me talk on?
If we had a guest, who would you like to see in the conversation of disability, dignity, & hope?
